General Course Information

Information for students on the Adult Improvers' & Adult Performance Courses
For residential students the price includes accommodation in single rooms and full board with a glass of wine at evening meals. There may be days when sessions will occur after dinner. In this event non-residents are welcome to stay for dinner free of charge.

Information for the Junior Course
Extra pastoral staff are employed to see to the needs of the young students in their recreation time and to help them to travel between lessons. Afternoon sports activities will be co-ordinated by our specialist support staff which is headed by a professional school sports teacher. Pool sessions are allocated each day, always under the supervision of a qualified lifeguard.

Accommodation and Food 
The UK Oxford Cello School courses take place at Radley College. Set in extensive grounds, the school boasts comfortable accommodation and an extensive range of facilities. Sleeping accommodation is available in small dormitories or single rooms. Junior accommodation is set away from senior accommodation. Students are supervised by a team of experienced house staff to ensure that each student has a happy and comfortable stay. All meals are provided for residential students; lunch and afternoon tea are provided for non-residential students.



Exams
Associated Board Exams will take place on Saturday 30th July 2011. Students wishing to take an exam must enrol on the Exam Booster Course and have the permission of their teachers. Exam entry will be dealt with on a separate form sent out after we receive your application.

Evening Activities
Afternoon and evening activities are organised every day. These consist of a variety of activities including concerts and recitals, games, swimming, punting, curry nights for the older students, an informal concert and a ceilidh. These are organised by our specialist support staff which is headed by a professional school sports teacher. The pool is available in the students' free time. Sessions are always supervised by our qualified lifeguards.

Enrolment Information
Applications received after the 30th April cannot be guaranteed. A few bursaries are available. Please request the special form which must returned with an application form and deposit of £150 to the Administrator before the 31st March 2011.

Methods of Payment
Payment can be made by one of the following methods only:- Payment in full - a 10% discount may be deducted if the total course fee is paid with the application and received not later than the 31st January 2011. Payment by monthly standing order - a deposit of £150 must accompany the application. A standing order form will be sent to you. A deposit of £150 with application: Balance payable by 15t June 2011. Cheques must be made out in Sterling, payable to "Oxford Cello School" and sent to the address below:-

If paying with a foreign cheque you are required to add a £7.00 surchage to cover bank charges.

Conditions
The OCS reserves the right to make any necessary changes to the programme.
In the event of a cancellation, for whatever reason, the following disbursements will apply: 
•Not less than 8 weeks before the course commences, full refund less £100. 
•Less than 8 weeks but not less than 4 weeks before the course commences, 50% refund less £100. 
•Less than 4 weeks before or during the course, the fee is payable in full.
